Do I need to install anything?
It depends on your system. Cloud-based systems like Open Dental and CareStack connect via a secure API key, nothing to install. For server-based systems connected through Sikka, a lightweight utility runs on your PMS server or main workstation. Our team walks you through whichever path applies.
How long does setup take?
Most practices connect the same day. Data typically begins populating within a couple of hours of setup, and a full initial sync completes shortly after.
Is my patient data safe?
Yes. PatientLoop is built to be HIPAA compliant, we sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with every customer, encrypt data in transit and at rest, and limit access to the data needed to attribute revenue and run your automations. See our Security & compliance section for details.
